Conheci o Bacalhau de Búzios numa noite de chuva. A acolhida foi muito carinhosa. Os Bolinhos de Bacalhau são ótimos, com gosto de peixe fresco e bem servidos. Importante, servem cachaça boa. Só precisam aumentar a variedade!
Vanir foi quem nos acolheu. Um doce.
My friend and I stumbled on Bacalhau de Buzios in a rainy night. We were out to see a big outdoors show when the downpour came. Smiling, my friend pointed to some tables and we rushed into the restaurant, getting to dodge the worst of the storm . We had just an appetizer, Bolinho de Bacalhau - Codfish Fritters. The fish tasted fresh and the portion was at once well balanced and generous. Both my friend and I found them deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked: crisp and not a drop of extra oil. Of note, they serve good cachaça, which is fairly rare around here, and maybe I should just be happy, which I am. Yet, I will definitely be even happier if they were to increase the variety. Vanir, the hostess, was impeccable and very sweet.
